Well actually its a village festival that has a Scarecrow competition with healthy amounts of participation. Not sure what my theme will be as its the first one we have done, its all about raising money for the village though, so good cause. Personally I am backing our little day care unit and the people who attend which are mainly warden controlled, they are a lovely bunch.
Well have decided on a Gardener Miss Polly Potter and her faithful companion Phat-a-killa (a very brightly knitted catapilla in orange and green) this is a contribution to the Yarnbombing, yes new to me too. We really enjoyed making this well I was clerk of works and Jean did the actual work, complete with mop head hair and straw hat and body, Wellies, the works really.
